It appears to work well and as intended. It is painted aluminum and appears to be still packed damp as there is bubble wrap on the paint. Was well packaged and arrived undamaged even in the hands of UPS which I wanted to avoid by ordering through Revain instead of Ebay. Update, it doesn't fit my 1973 Ford Maverick. The upper and lower tanks meet the core support before the mounting flange is close enough for the bolts to attach. You will need to cut the core support or use 1 inch washers or both. I sent it back to the seller.
