It was perfect for me

We walked about 2 miles with our 3 year old through various terrain, crossing a creek and jumping in puddles. The shoes seemed comfortable as the Purson didn't complain. His socks were wet, but what can you expect when crossing a creek. But they didn't get wet because they jumped in the puddle, which he did first. Easy to put on, good foot hold. Definitely recommended for young people.
