This is a very nice, thick robe that provides a lot of warmth--almost too much as I started overheating within a few minutes of trying it on! It is cozy and soft, but not quite as comfy as my long time favorite robe that is wearing out and needs to be replaced. I threw this in the washer on a delicate setting and dried it on low heat to see if it would soften up even more. It stayed about the same after being washed and didn't create too much extra lint in the dryer so I think it is made of pretty high quality fabric. Size wise I think this runs a bit on the smaller side. I am 5'4", 115 lbs. for reference and always wear a size XS/S/2/2Petite and as you can see in the photo, this robe in size medium lands above my ankles and generally fits about right. Yes, the sleeves are a bit long, but they usually are on most robes for me unless I buy petite sizing. I feel like if I had gotten my normal size small or smaller, this robe would have been a bit uncomfortable.maybe it's because there isn't a ton of give in the fabric. I think this robe is pretty, warm and cozy enough, but I am not so sure it is going to be my tried and true, daily go-to robe for ultra cozy comfort!
