Resurrected a dormant Asus laptop by replacing its slow HDD with a new one. The quicker pace is instantly noticeable. I transferred all the files and information off of the old HDD and onto the system disk. The utility provided in the package made copying the contents of the old disk, including the boot record, a breeze. If there are two hard drive bays in the computer, we just plug the SSD into one of them, power up the machine, and launch the appropriate software. When everything is done, we set the new SSD disk as bootable in the BIOS and have fun.
