As a mechanical engineer, my expectations were extremely high from the start. I've dabbled with 3D printers and seen several different models in action. We even have one in the office (Prusa i3 MK3) and I can honestly say that this 3D printer is a great buy. I am 100% satisfied. Below are the criteria that were important to me and on which my assessment was based; Ease of use: It took me just a few minutes to take it out of the box, clip the build plate in place, and we were good to go. and work. I've seen my colleagues at work struggling to put together a Prusa kit along with parts that didn't fit 100% right or stalled during the process. It was a great experience to have the Dremel ready to use without any adjustments. Prints are easy to set up with the included cutting software, and beginners can easily print without having to spend hours getting it up and running. Advanced options are available for advanced users, where you can customize each setting. The slicer is based on Cura. Frame. One of the main advantages for me was that the printer comes with a carrying case. With other open printers, you have to worry about fume inhalation, ultrafine particles, and temperature control issues (especially when printing ABS and nylon). I have young children who accidentally stick their fingers in the running printer. Having a suitcase adds an extra layer of security, which was important to me. I have the printer in my garage where the temperature can be cold, but since the case regulates the internal temperature well I don't have much of a problem with the prints warping or the first layer not adhering. It just works! Filtration: It comes with a built-in filter and fan. The fan is the right size and built into the electronics. As a result, it can be easily controlled. You can easily and quickly adjust whether it turns on or not, as well as the speed. The housing is supplied with mounting hardware already installed should an external filter system be required. The user can also use the same mounting hardware to exhaust the fan's exhaust air to the outside by connecting a hose and adapter to the mounting hardware. The printer comes with the file you need for the adapter. You can just print them out, screw them to the back of the case and connect the hose. Print Quality: This printer is amazing. The quality competes with the best on the market in this price range. Filament: Dremel brand filaments work great. There are many people who complain about the cost of filament and the fact that it's half the amount you get from other filament. So you literally pay more for less. In reality, however, the user can use any filament. The settings are adjustable, and the printer itself can work with any brand of thread. You just need to adjust the settings and the spool itself needs to be outside of the printer. never mind A simple internet search will turn up a couple of videos showing you how to do it. As far as I know, Dremel will no longer void your warranty on it. WiFi/Webcam/Cloud: These features are great and extremely useful for queuing different prints, remotely monitoring prints and tracking filament usage. Would I recommend Absolutely YES!
