Our dog ate a lot of Blackwood wet dog food and we liked it because she didn't get diarrhea and the ingredients are pretty good. This kitten food is no different. Cats are absolute carnivores, they only eat meat. Therefore, it is obvious that most of their diet should consist of meat. My only complaint on the list is that they use lentils and field peas simply because it's a known filler and there's some debate as to whether it causes heart problems in cats. However, until there is more concrete evidence, I'm not worried about that (my 10 year old cat has been fed this food all her life and is getting stronger and stronger). This food smells very strongly of fish, so if that bothers you, get in touch. But I think cats are crazy about food.
