Having blown signal and tail light fuses in a Toyota with non-CK bulbs in the past, I was concerned I would have to rewire them if I got them. I started taking their base apart to make sure the wiring wasn't shorting out my fuses and was surprised at how much glue was used to cover these bulbs, which was very different from the previous LED bulbs I've had in the store bought. past. Once inside, I found that each pin goes to the board independently and doesn't share a common ground pin like every other lightbulb I've had in the past. Tests with a 9 volt battery showed that the CK type connector did not cause a short, so I assembled a lightbulb and installed it in my car. The light output was very bright and best of all, no fuses were blown! I really like these bulbs and will definitely order another set when they burn out.
