This is garbage in the camera and photo

This is a poorly designed product. It won't stay in the position you tightened it. I'm an engineer and when it started behaving this way I took one of them apart and it looked like a very poorly designed product to me. It can be suitable for very light loads, but just hold it in your hands and tighten. You will find that you can move it just by pressing it with your hand, nothing to do with it.
