My daughter of two and a half kept coming up to us with earrings in hand and a smile on her face and saying you us that she drew them all herself. Since she likes to put everything in her mouth, we were very afraid that she would swallow the earrings or, less importantly, lose them and her ears would close up and it would be painful to put new ones in. the earrings she couldn't take off didn't irritate her skin and looked good. I went to all the big stores (Target, JC Penny, Walmart, Claires, etc.) and looked at their screw-on pads and I never felt comfortable and a lot of them were overpriced. I found them on Revain, took a chance and they work great. We check them every other day and they have never loosened or had to be tightened. They look good and have not caused any side effects. My daughter likes to look at them in the mirror and thinks they are beautiful. I have already recommended her to another parent and will continue to do so. I am very happy with this set of earrings.
