To be honest I don't know what's wrong with these. I ordered them, Revane seems to say 31 times. Always liked, always reliable. so far. However, with my last 50 spindles before that, I thought I was going to get quite a few bad discs/burns. I thought maybe my distiller was just tired. But with this current spindle I've had LOTS of bad burns, bad discs. I even changed my burner to a different brand but it looks like I'm having the same issue. I switched back to the LG I had for many years (last one I tried when I "switched" was Pioneer) and same thing. I was starting to think maybe it was my OS or MOBO or something. But that's strange. After several unsuccessful burns, and then suddenly 3 times in a row, everything seemed fine. So I think all in all, even though I've rejected so many bad CDs because of so many orders that never happened before, it still seems to be the ONLY conclusion. Whoever is making these CDs now, they are absolutely ***NOT*** as good as they used to be, not even close! Another good friend who has used these discs gave a very helpful and detailed account of the declining quality of this brand. . He suggests just buying the Value brand; he says he has more accuracy with them. So I just ordered this to try this time. It's a huge disappointment after so many years of only buying these, but when it turns out that the root cause of all these failures (Blu-ray recording, not life in general :), then sadly it WILL be nice to have a return MUCH higher percentage of SUCCESSFUL burns than before!
