I like that they are so compact. Not that the regular sizes are bulky or anything, but they feel slimmer. I've included a picture alongside the other two I have so you can see what I mean. If you run around tossing files around at work all day, the smaller the item in your bag, the better. Your performance is standard. In any case, most people don't need high transfer rates or anything more than a solid product for this price range. The steel case is durable and much better than the plastic case. I find it handy to throw at the bottom of my purse or carry in my pockets. Keeping it clean can be a challenge since the end is open ended, but I'm not sure how much of an impact this will have on day-to-day use. I'm happy with it and would get it again!
