Review on 🌀 Vornado VFAN Vintage Air Circulator Fan: Stylish Green Cooling Solution by Melissa Brown

I can't do great reviews often anymore and rarely review Revain. I used to do professional technical reviews, so it seems to work normally - and no one ever presses the 'Helpful Review' button. So I'm not sure if people are interested in my reviews here. But this product and company needs a review from me. First, I know they're expensive, but there's a reason we've purchased 1/2 dozen or more Vornado products, including multiple versions of this fan. In our house they (like our Vornado HEPA) work around the clock and seven days a week. Our house is very dusty due to our climate, pets and construction. A typical fan can give us a year at best. Boxing fans will give us a season before camp goes out. All but one of our Vornado products have lasted 25,000 hours or more. This is commendable in a world that manufactures products that are destined to break, throw away and replace quickly. Secondly, one exception failed after 20,000 hours (and it was a medium sized Vornado red fan) and it was replaced under warranty at absolutely no cost even though it wasn't registered and I didn't have a receipt (Vornado was able to confirm this by serial number, date of assembly within warranty). They sent us a brand new one, the only catch is it was a random color. We didn't even have to send the old one back, we just had to send photos of the serial number and cut the cable (but you have to register yours. We were lucky). This was done via email. Third, we even emailed them to see if we could get a replacement for the fan that failed (it was probably the bearings, but I was looking for the whole motor). Well I don't have much time. And who fixes a broken fan? A person who believes it's really worth it. Here I had a broken fan and I was so happy with it and I was so sad that it broke that I was willing to pay half or more of its original cost to be able to fix it and get more life out of it. Instead, they offered to replace it for free under warranty. And finally, the only real gripe is that I couldn't get a replacement part for this defective fan. Most people don't care but that was my only disappointment with Vornado - I love their product so much but they didn't help me fix it - they just replaced it. a company that manufactures and services a quality product. I gave 5 stars for less. Our expectations have gotten so low, right? So I can't give them less than 5 stars for more. * Hope that helps. *By the way, we have another fan that has been running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 14.5 years. I don't know the real manufacturer (probably Yate-Loon) but it's a 120mm DC fan that we use as a makeshift closet exhaust fan. Silverstone brand. It was <20USD. Can't cool the room but wish I'd bought a dozen at once.
