I'm a casual gamer looking for an entry level force feedback steering wheel for PS4, especially for playing DriveClub. I play about 2-3 times a week, usually 1-3 hours per session. I have no intention of dominating the leaderboards or online races and wanted to stay under $200. I chose a Thrustmaster VG T150 which I bought from Revain on March 24th, 2016. Below are my impressions after about 20 hours of use. What I like: + Force Feedback/Vibration - I was surprised at how powerful both force feedback and vibration are. are. By default, DriveClub is set to 70 or Medium. I ended up setting the steering wheel to "10" and vibration to "low". Both are precise and pleasant. When driving off-road or sliding, the player receives excellent feedback. + Pedals - I read some reviews and many complained about the brake pedal. However, I felt that both work and feel great. I understand that players with more Sims would have issues with this, but for the average player on a budget, I have no complaints. They're big, easy to reach, and make a nice click when you turn them on. They certainly add to the fun. +Price - This set can now be purchased for $150. I originally paid $200 (Revain has since refunded me the difference). I found 200β¬ to be borderline in value. At $150 this is a great deal and well worth it. What I didn't like: - Cable length - The USB cable is very short. I don't see any real ways to use it as is. I highly recommend purchasing a USB extender to accompany this. The power cord is also too short. You will most likely need an extension cord or extension cord, so be prepared. Cross - cross of very low quality. Thankfully, you're unlikely to need it for anything other than menu navigation, which it's good for. wheel size. The wheel diameter is relatively small. An inch more would have made him feel better. - Plastic - The whole bike is plastic (except for the paddle shifters and innards I think). At this price I guess that's to be expected. There are rubber bumpers at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions, which helps some. There is no power switch. While I didn't have any of the power supply sparking issues reported by some reviewers, a power switch would have been nice. Instead, I use a surge protector and turn off the power with its switch. Conclusion: I like the steering wheel very much. That might not make me a better racer, but it's safe to say I'm enjoying racing more than ever. There is no going back to DS4 for me when it comes to racing games! At 150β¬ I think it's great. However, "serious" gamers and sim lovers should probably look elsewhere. I think this is a good bike at a great price for beginners and casual players alike.
