We bought this set of 6 bulbs (tubes) for our laser cutting machines and learned quite a bit along the way. We learned that the tube measurement is based on the spacing of the tube pins, NOT the length of the glass tube. That means we bought 21" tubes for a 22" fixture with no markings. Because the bracket was made from thin aluminum, we were able to shorten it to accommodate these tubes. After we took care of our "Oops", the lamps have been connected and they are fine. The ends of the tubes don't twist or flicker, they snap into place without hesitation, and the color is bright white with a slightly more bluish slant, as you'd expect from 6500K bulbs. Currently (3 days after installation) they still work great and we're fine with that even with the little brass tubes crimped over the ignition wire design for the pins. They did not bend or twist when the tubes were inserted into the device.
