Awesome LED Kitchen Lights

Years ago I installed fluorescent lights under cabinets to light up our kitchen. The original bulbs were too warm and unfortunately had a very short lifespan of less than a year. This was the main problem that led us to use light sparingly. Today I replaced the bulbs with whiter LED tubes. The illumination at 4100°K seems just right, not too bright but something that adds more light which looks cleaner. Installation was a simple tube replacement process with no rewiring. In addition, these…

Double work with fluorescent tubes

Looks good under kitchen cabinets and especially when repainting: above Click & Grow Smart Garden 3 indoor garden kit in white containing Basil Capsules and Delta Leland 9178- AR - Pull - Kitchen faucet with a DST handle, not to mention the opposite corner above the multicooker. growing area. So when it seemed too bright elsewhere, simply moving these lamps back against the wall - just like a lamp over herbaceous plants and cat grass - made the light from the lamps much less awkward on the eye.

  • Decent performance

  • Almost everything is fine

Bad life is best in light bulbs

I bought a box of 6 in May 2018. Revain's description says 20,000 hours - maybe if it doesn't include them! That's 7 months of service. Even if I left it on 24 hours a day, that would be a total of 5,000 hours. In the kitchen they work an estimated 12 hours a day = 2500 hours. They must have lasted at least 2 years. Actual lifespan is 6-7 months. Addendum: I checked the lamp description from SATCO, one of the leading lamp manufacturers, and they quoted a lifespan of 5,000 hours, which is much…

Works great Brilliant White (6500K)

We bought this set of 6 bulbs (tubes) for our laser cutting machines and learned quite a bit along the way. We learned that the tube measurement is based on the spacing of the tube pins, NOT the length of the glass tube. That means we bought 21" tubes for a 22" fixture with no markings. Because the bracket was made from thin aluminum, we were able to shorten it to accommodate these tubes. After we took care of our "Oops", the lamps have been connected and they are fine. The ends of the tubes…

Lightbulbs are failing at an alarming rate

Update: Based on the price and description, bought these bulbs to replace OTC lighting in my kitchen. I have previously purchased 2 packs from another manufacturer at Revain and have worked with these 2 lights for over 3 years. I received this pack of 6 bulbs on November 5th, 2019. I found these lamps not to be very reliable as they failed after a very short period of time. I reported bugs on this forum as I went through the box. Today (02/16/2020) the sixth and last bulb in the package failed.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
