I was about to replace the coffee strainer. A replacement filter costs $15. I've never spent that much on a screen filter when I knew I could buy a new press for about the same amount. I've seen the Bonjour coffee press cost anywhere from $39-$49 for the same cup size. I stumbled across this one for $23.99 with all these little perks: 2 small glass coffee mugs, 2 spare strainers, cleaning brush, measuring spoon/stirrer and a battery operated milk frother. Not to mention that the glass carafe has measuring lines on the side so you can brew the exact amount of coffee you want. Not many French coffee makers have e-liquid measurements on the side. I really like this set. It cost a price of $23.99. I am updating this due to possible consumer safety concerns which I have emailed and sent photos to the company. Thin wires protrude from the screens that can potentially break off and get inside, causing perforation of the esophagus, stomach, or intestines, causing serious injury and even death. I'm a registered nurse and have filed a report with the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Buyers please check all screens for fine wire loss or protruding wires. I had to cut off a few that I found on them so they wouldn't break and get inside. After notifying the company, I received a response within 24 hours. They were nice and polite, thanked me for bringing the problem to their attention and sent me the repair plan that they are working with the manufacturer to ensure no consumer is harmed. They took my request and the photos I sent in very seriously. They had me send them my order number and contact information so they could send me a free replacement. Again, tracking information was sent to me within 24 hours that it was and will be delivered in 2 days on 04/03/2020. The company threw him off the track with the customer service ball. 5 star customer service rating for them.
