Good but too big for bedding

I like this dark brown but it's too big. I have a queen size bed and I bought a queen size bed skirt. This article should be for a large double bed because it is so big. I have to be creative in tucking in the excess so that the white part that actually lies under my mattress isn't visible. I ordered the correct size so I don't know why I'm having this problem. However, for the price, I agree that I need to creatively tuck it away so no white shows through.
