Instead of draining the crankcase I used it to pump new oil into the VW DCT gearbox. It worked great. Usually people use a hand pump or gravity feed or fill the gear from the top and it takes a few minutes (sometimes up to 10 minutes per bottle) per litre/quart. It took less than 30 seconds to pump a 1 liter bottle of DCT oil into the transmission through the bottom drain using a special tool like you should. VW DCT people will understand what I'm talking about. But it worked better than I could have imagined and the transmission oil change was smooth and pretty quick.
