I am naturally redheaded and have gray patches in my hair. I wanted to try covering them but didn't want to use anything that would damage my hair. This color wasn't advertised as a gray opaque color but I thought it would be a good place to start my color journey. It was easy to use and really added color to my hair. So much so that I hated it for the first few days, it was obvious I had done something to my hair that I didn't want. After 3 days the color has settled down and matches my natural color perfectly and I LOVE it...it covers all the gray hair and my hair is really healthy. I have long hair that is coarse, thick and frizzy and this pack of henna has handled all of my hair with no problems. I'm sure it will add a nice shade of red to lighter hair, or add a lot of copper to darker hair, and if you're a natural redhead looking for some gray or white (red hair tends to go white, at least in my family). ) cover , It's perfect!
