So I love the brightness of the light. I don't see any "dark spots" caused by the fan on top, the visible marks are visible around the corners of my headlight lens. The light itself is very long, it was very painful for me trying to push the flashlight into the body, and the top of the flashlight (the fan that cools the light) gets pressed against the glass surface of my headlight, so I've I'm not entirely sure the fan is getting enough air, so I'm hoping it doesn't overheat or melt. But in general I like the brightness and color. It is very easy to see during the day and impossible to miss in the dark. Every once in a while you have to "politely tell other drivers what the high beam REALLY looks like" hahaha.
