Plug and play installation. The presence of a fan in front of the LEDs created a black spot, and the light was scattered on the sides. The halogen bulbs had a more focused hotspot. That's why I want to return them.

Very bright, good looking BUT a bit long. 8 inches shorter they would be perfect. I had to bend the case a bit to mount the retaining spring with these bulbs installed, but I managed.

This lamp was just "plug and play" on my 2008 VTX 1800T. It was so bright on the normal beam I had to google how to adjust my headlight and it was 2 feet up, I adjusted it and now it's perfect and when I hit the bright light the glow Street signs, it's very bright and one of the best upgrades I've made to my bike!

The bulb itself was easy to install on my Suzuki Boulevard M50 08, I had a little problem with the headlight housing when assembling it as I had never changed a bulb on a motorcycle. However, it's all part of the experience! My fiancé said I was very easy to see when he was driving in front and the headlights worked well too. I love the aesthetic of the blue ring in the center!

Light works great. Delivery was quick. Just plug and play in my Honda Shadow ACE, but. RF interference blocked most of my FM reception. This broadcasts RFI in a radius of about 6 feet. Tried ferrite chokes (several) as close to the light as possible, but that didn't help. The HF is emitted by the light/fan of the LED itself. If you don't use an FM radio in your bike/helmet speakers then that's no problem, but I had to resort to halogen.

I mounted this lamp on a Husqvarna Enduro headlight housing. So far it works great where I can ride my bike at night. I've ridden a motorcycle 70 miles off road and this thing still blinds people along the way. The only snag was that the bulb diameter is quite large so depending on the headlight housing some trimming may be required to fit. For the price it's fantastic! I don't know how the light propagates to oncoming traffic as I only use it off-road.

I installed this bulb in my 2008 Victory Vision high beam. It is very bright and gives more than enough light. The blue lights surrounding the center can cause problems for local law enforcement, although the light output is very white. Your results may vary based on local Down. The price was good compared to other LED options. Ease of installation mainly depends on your application. Can't rate durability as I've only ridden about 50 miles. However, it is a very bright light and has a longer range than a halogen bulb. Bright white light with no blue cast. I had to adjust the beam height (below) by moving the headlight pan. 2003 Sportster. I installed a 2006 lamp housing and had to modify the spring clip as the bulge in the housing interfered with the lamp. For 2003 and earlier cases, this change is NOT required. So I love the brightness of the light. I don't see any "dark spots" caused by the fan on top, the visible marks are visible around the corners of my headlight lens. The light itself is very long, it was very painful for me trying to push the flashlight into the body, and the top of the flashlight (the fan that cools the light) gets pressed against the glass surface of my headlight, so I've I'm not entirely sure the fan is getting enough air, so I'm hoping it doesn't overheat or melt.
