I compare it to the Sony WI-C300, which I used practically every day for somewhere between four and ten hours between the months of November 2022 and September 2022. The battery life is much improved with the wi xb400. After receiving the warning about the discharge, I continued to listen for another three hours, and as a result, I was unable to land entirely (Charging the wi c300 was enough for about 10-12 hours, and about an hour after the low battery warning). When opposed to the C300, which had a battery that was constantly ready to fall by the scruff of the neck and drag the headphones along with it, the Xb400 has a weight distribution that is more even. The length of the wires on an xb400 is approximately 20 to 30 centimeters longer. Because of the wider membrane, the highs have started to sound more distinct; however, it will be essential to rebuild the equalizer in order to accommodate metalcore music; pop, rhythm and blues will sound even better. There has been no alteration to the mids or the lows. The most important thing is that now, even when the wind is blowing outside, at least they can hear me speaking into the microphone. In a nutshell, the WI-C300 are obsolete, whereas the WI-XB400 improve upon the strengths of the WI-C300 while doing away with the drawbacks of the previous generation.
