I am raising litters of newborn kittens and have chosen these. Since my children have no mother, I always look for soft and warm clothes for them. The paw prints on this one were a bonus! I have used it with a litter of three kittens and made a small ceiling nest for them. They will curl up in nooks and crannies like they curl up around a mother cat. Every time I took them out they were very warm. Washing is important with kittens. I have washed this duvet a few times and it washes very well. I like the size too. Unlike many very small baby blankets, this one is a good size and I can make a cute little bumper out of it. Overall I would recommend it for kittens or babies!
