Oh my god. This stuff is from another planet. I feel like if I had a broken trance I could pour this stuff in and it would magically fix it. But seriously, it helped a BIG time to fix a typical 2nd gear synchro problem in my '99 Honda Civic. A forum I visited once referred to shifting as "moving a wooden bar over a barrel of coconuts," and before I replaced my gear oil with a modified GM friction mesh, I thought the same thing. Instead of a rod in a barrel of coconuts, I now have a hot knife through butter. BEFORE I added this fluid, due to a typical 2nd gear synchro issue, my 2nd gear was almost always engaged and all other gears felt a bit rough. Mechanism. It was difficult to get into reverse and 5th gear. AFTER adding this liquid, my 1st and 3rd gears are 100% flawless and literally feel like a hot knife in butter. my 4th gear feels almost as good. My 5th and reverse gears are MUCH easier to access and I know they no longer have that special gear I use to call "almost reverse" lol. Eventually my 2nd gear synch problem went from literally shifting into gear every time I now felt just a little bit rough whenever I shifted into gear. Grinding is rare. Overall I find this GM fluid very expensive and I was VERY reluctant to pay close to $20 a gallon. But every forum I visited said this stuff worked wonders, so I went with it. Now I've joined the crowd. This fluid is so amazing that it will fix small mechanical problems in your transmission such as: This material is expensive for a reason. I won't buy anything else for now. I am 100% convinced of the product.
