This video doorbell is comparable to many brands. It was easy to install in front of the house. I installed the app and the picture and sound quality is very good and notifies me when someone is there even if I'm in the backyard. The speaker can be installed anywhere in the house. I recommend you check the type of Wi-Fi in your home before you buy it, as it only works on the 2.4GHz frequency. If your WiFi operates at 5GHz, it may not be compatible. Now, with the app, my husband and I can see the person at the door whether we're home or not.
