Revain's Canidae appear to be different from the Canidae sold in pet stores. For the second time in 5 months we bought a bag of Canidae Grain Free Chicken from Revain. For the second time in 5 months, our two cats got sick and ended up refusing to eat this product. The first time this happened in January 2018, the cats were sick for several days. After taking the cats to the vet, we ended up putting them on a therapeutic diet for a few days and both cats got better. Not knowing what happened, we decided to discard the Canidae we bought from Revain. At the end of April we bought another bag and as soon as we gave it to the cats they got sick again and one of the cats refused to eat. it is from the beginning. Since our cats have been eating Canidae bought from Petco for the past 2 years with no problem, we bought a new bag from Petco and tried our luck again. It worked great, the cats started eating again and nobody got sick. The pebbles in the two bags appear to be a different color and slightly different shape (rounder and flatter on Revains Caniday versus squarer and thicker on Petco). canids).
