I had a nice wooden cabinet that contained my 80's dinosaur Sony TV. You know, really fat ones that weighed a ton. When we finally got rid of that Sony, the only TV that fit in that cabinet was a 32-inch TV because the cabinet was only 34 feet wide. I wanted a bigger TV but didn't want to buy a new cabinet so my friend came up with this mount. We took the shelves out of the cabinet and almost gutted it, leaving room for a 47-inch TV that fits vertically where the bracket snaps. The bracket was attached to the back wall of the cabinet, the TV hangs sideways on this bracket and you can close the doors so that the TV is not visible. But when you want to use it, open the doors, pull out the TV, turn it horizontally and voila! Your beautiful 47-inch TV hangs just behind the cabinet, and when you're done, turn it vertically, slide it in, and close the doors. It was a brilliant solution to my problem I can keep my wooden cabinet! The mount is very strong and the price is great. And I have free shipping! It doesn't go in and out as easily, but I think it will smear with use and the joints will move more easily. I would definitely recommend this bike for both quality and price.
