I bought this after realizing my black teflon coated pans were peeling off and splinters got into the food. I liked the copper look and studied the Gotham Steel commercial on TV. But the reviews said the non-stick coating didn't last long on them. I found them with the best reviews and tried them out. They are beautiful. So far, they can all be washed quite well by hand or in the dishwasher. The copper image is still good after a few uses. I use them on a gas stove. The sizes are just right for me. There are lids for every size. I thought the price was good for what was included in the set. You must use an oven mitt on the lid as the lid's metal handle can get hot. The very end of the pot handle doesn't get as hot, but you still need to be careful as it's metal. I haven't tried them in the oven, I probably never will. Decorated my kitchen and I'm glad I have it. The inner coating is uneven but seems firmer and doesn't scratch like the old black coatings. Goodbye old pots and pans!
