I bought this because I didn't have an outlet nearby so I needed a cordless mirror with a light. That's fine, but there are 2 downsides. It's rechargeable, no batteries, so you need to plug it in to charge. It's fine except that it takes a long time to fully charge (more than overnight) and the charge doesn't last more than a couple of days. My lights are on less than an hour a day for reference. I needed a wireless mirror but it needs to be connected very often so it doesn't fit. Another drawback is the on/off switch. This is a touch sensor on one side of the mirror. So if you use the magnifying side, you have to flip the mirror to turn it off. I feel like I'm flipping it all the time. Again, nothing bad, but annoying. The light is super bright and two sides (one for zoom) is a plus.
