I like this mirror after returning several others. It stands tall so I can see clearly. The actual mirror is wider than the others. There is a backlight, but the face does not light up. I love that I can plug it in to charge, which is relatively quick and has a green light letting you know when it's fully charged. It's easy to clean EXCEPT where you put the sticker. The only downside is that 10x isn't really 10x. It's impossible to imagine traveling with something that big!

I really like everything about this mirror except that it definitely doesn't have a 10x magnification. I know this because I left my mirror at my daughter's house when I was visiting. I bought this because I didn't have an outlet nearby so I needed a cordless mirror with a light. That's fine, but there are 2 downsides. It's rechargeable, no batteries, so you need to plug it in to charge. It's fine except that it takes a long time to fully charge (more than overnight) and the charge doesn't last more than a couple of days. My lights are on less than an hour a day for reference. I cannot recommend this product at this time as "it clearly shows you should get 8". reflective mirror surface as advertised! This product has been REPLACED with other true 8" reflective surfaces with multicolored light tones at lower or higher prices depending on the material.
