Review on ๐Ÿฆต Z-Frame Knee Braces - Leatt Brace, Size Large by Montez Parson

Comfort and protection you can afford

Before purchasing the Leatt Z-Brace, we looked at many knee pad options. Overall, knee pads are a compromise between comfort, protection, and cost. Note: The Z-Brace is my first time using protective gear to protect my knee (and luckily no injuries before). I measured my knees at the "maximum" width and ordered the appropriate size according to the attached size chart. It arrived quickly from Longhorn Moto! They are a snug fit and I recommend a "fitting" of at least an hour or two to become familiar with donning and doffing the device to ensure the correct fit and tightening sequence of the straps, spandex and nylon legs, Pads, etc. are adjustable to accommodate some weight loss (hopefully) and limited knee extension. I would recommend ordering a size that fits your measurements. Measure both knees as they may differ slightly. Take your time and get it right the first time! After the first trial fitting, it only takes about 5 minutes to put on the devices correctly. I wore them on a 1.5 hour test ride (adventure road biking) and towards the end I almost forgot I had braces on! I will update my "review" later after attempting an off-road test. I hope this quick overview helps, YMMV.
