If you want to give a gift to a girl who likes to do makeup, this is a good option. It has pretty much everything you could possibly need for a full face, except mascara, blush or bronzer, and it comes in a cute pouch to boot. Some things to watch out for: My eyeliner pencil came with a lid that twisted in the box with the pencil and case out of the way. Once out of the box, the eyeshadow and lip palettes are identical, so you can't tell which is which at a glance without opening them. Regular lipsticks and some eye shadows are quite transparent and require a bit of build-up to keep the colors. Foundations and most concealers are all pale pasty and there are no other color options. If you're darker than me and I'm on the pale side, then there are five items in this set that you probably won't need. One of the concealer jars is darker and there are some very decent options in the concealer/contour palette. My "lip icing" arrived pink, not blue as listed. I'm not upset about this since it's crystal clear, but I thought I was missing the product until I checked the list again because I was considering blue lip frosting. "Powders," also known as fake beauty blenders, are fairly small, about two inches tall, and dry. When wet, they expand about half an inch. Being small isn't such a bad thing and I'm looking forward to using it to work out the details, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Items labeled "Body Lotion" are bottles with gold and silver glitter. Lotion is not used. The lip balm is odorless and tasteless. This is lip balm at its simplest. I'm not too upset by the lack of mascara as it is the beauty product with the shortest shelf life. However, I would like some blush. There are darker shades in the contouring palette that are suitable for bronzers. Given that eyeshadow palettes exist, I would like a flat eyeshadow brush to match as I use it to apply eyeshadow. These brushes are definitely more face-focused. If, like me, you're allergic to talc, I warn you that eyeshadow contains talc. Lots of packages. After unpacking everything, the bag was only half full and I had a nice pile of junk to throw away. Overall a decent array and good value for money. It's not a perfect set and it definitely feels fake, but there are plenty of items I could use in the future.
