My first ultrawide monitor. Pretty good first impression!

Well I may be the first reviewer to actually pay for one of these monitors as at the time of writing all other reviews were written by "Vine customers" who received this monitor for free. (Am I jealous? Hell yeah) Anyway, this is my first experience with an ultrawide monitor. I've used dual monitors and in some cases triple monitors, but they were all standard 16:9 or 16:10. I have decided to buy one now as I work from home and using a single 6 year old 24" Dell monitor with a 15.6" laptop screen is just cumbersome (I have two 22 inch monitors in the office). I don't know if it's due to size differences or what, but it just made things more difficult (although it doesn't help that there's some lag just because of the nature of remote work anyway). So I decided to try Ultrawide. And since I also play games, I chose Curved (well, they say curved monitors are easier on my eyes. So yeah, that's for work). The monitor is clear and bright and paired with The Laptop almost feels like I have 3 screens because I can fit two work screens on ultrawide. For a monitor if you don't have a cat. You can't adjust the height, but you can adjust the incline. A VESA mount is also possible. maybe, albeit strange, because the mounting screws are slightly countersunk and the plate of my mount doesn't seem to fit flush with the monitor. But it seems to be working. What I don't like is that the controls are at the bottom of the monitor. Therefore, there must be at least 1/2 inch clearance at the bottom to use the controls, depending on the size of your fingers. Menu operation is a mess too, although most TV's on-screen menus still have this problem. In terms of games, I've only tried one game: No Man's Sky. The game supports the format, so it comes out fine. I'll try solitaire later. Overall I am happy with this monitor. As time goes on I may find more quirks or more desires when it comes to an ultrawide monitor, but as the first ultrawide monitor it impressed me.
