Review on Enhanced JOYSTAR Kickstand with Handbrake & Improved Stand Over by Seth Gomez

Nice retro bike for girls

JOYSTAR 18 inch kids cruise bike is a nice retro bike, new and trendy. It is a chain driven single speed bike with a crank driven rear brake, front brake lever and pads. But the front brake lever is a little tight for kids. The Sissy Bar (seriously, that's what it's called) is perfect for an adult to stand by and lend a hand. As the child grows, there are 3 notches to allow you to raise the seatpost and adjust accordingly. Adjust the sissybar mount. Other features include a loud bell, detachable white basket and reflectors. 10-year-old daughter jumped up, I adjusted and tightened everything. The supplied multi-blade key is not very practical and is very slow to use. My 1/2", 5/8" and 10mm wrenches did the job more efficiently to tighten all the nuts. and the pedal in place. The biggest problem is that the color-coded training wheels are too long. Even if you can ride a bike, the training wheels still touch the ground, forming a tricycle. The best thing for my daughter is being able to adjust the seat so her feet are comfortable on the ground and remove the training wheels to learn how to go faster.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Crumpled
