I bought this sharpener because we needed a good sharpener and we have different sized pencils (regular pencils, colored pencils, triangular pencils for beginners, etc.) d. ). I was surprised at how big it was, but that was my problem because I hadn't thought to check the dimensions beforehand, although that's not a problem. Anyway, there are strong little suction cups on the bottom that really hold it. Pencils sharpen to a sharp point very quickly and very easily. The ONLY issue I've had is children's pencils wrapped in symbols etc. They often leave one side of the pencil unsharpened where the seam of the case is. I understand this is probably not an issue with the sharpener, more like the pencils, but where it doesn't sharpen well I deduct a star as it limits its ability. However, if you want to use it for regular pens of different sizes, this is a great buy!
