I have a Galaxy Note 7 and this charger works great and charges fast if you use the wall charger that came with your phone. In my case, I use it in my truck to quickly charge my Note 7. I bought this car charger separately and it works great. I also bought some magnets to hold my phone on a stand when it's in the truck. I bought some other parts from [.] to make the bracket. This works very well. When I get in the truck, I just place the phone on the charger, the magnets snap and stick, and it charges quickly. For anyone with a similar console, I plugged it into the console and ran a cable through the console so you can't see it. If people need more information about the parts used to attach it I can provide it to them. I just wanted to share some Galaxy Note 7 DIY fast charging ideas as I couldn't find a ready-made solution for what I really need. I also have a Samsung fast charger and they both work equally well. If, like me, you use magnets to hold your phone, you need to be careful about where you place them so they don't get in the way of charging. I temporarily taped them in place to make sure it worked and placed the inside of the charger between the two coils.
