Most importantly, the product works as it should. My hair is frizzy like Shirley Temple's and I'm sure with a little combing it would be perfect. BUT my first experience was not a dream. Hair rollers take time to master and putting them on has been an arduous process. I know it's good not to heat the hair, so I appreciate this alternative. Another downside was the discomfort. I'm sure this will work better for those who use them during the day, but I set mine up for the night and it's been impossible to get comfortable with. I think my hair was in curlers for about 3 hours. When I took them off the curls were tight and my hair felt so healthy compared to using a straightener/dryer/curling iron. After sleeping on curls for a few hours, I woke up with beautiful soft curls. I wouldn't use them again unless I have the opportunity and time to use them during the day or blow dry as directed in the instructions. However, the curlers did their job.
