When my original charger first broke I was really annoyed. For some reason, I thought it would cost like $45, but instead, there were many cheap options available, including this one for $12.99. My HP model is 14-dq1039wm, and I couldn't find it anywhere on the product description page of this charger or on any of the other HP chargers here on Walmart. But I ended up feeling pretty satisfied that any of the HP chargers with the thin plug with the blue tip would work. And it does work. No problems so far. However, as you can see from the pictures, this charger plug is shorter than the original. Because of this, I am worried. After all, charger plugs inevitably get loose over time and eventually fail to make a connection. So when that happens, I assume that this shorter plug will be less likely to make a connection than a plug that is the exact right length. So, it works so far, but for how long? Also, the original charger has a three-pronged receptor and this one has a two-pronged one, but that's probably not a big deal.
