Review on Optimized for SEO: ZOL Predator MTB Mountain Bike and Indoor Cycling Shoes by Caleb Quade

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive: Cycling

I used to ride my bike quite a lot, but a few years ago I was struggling with my balance due to some issues. I recently bought a recumbent trike with a tadpole to ride again. I assume that I will drive it 2000-3000 km a year. I am a pure amateur biker, performance is not a priority. I still had my old cycling shoes, but since they are probably around 12 years old, I decided to get new ones. Zol Predator shoes are very expensive. The cleats were easy to install and worked well with my Shimano M520 pedals. The shoes are comfortable when I ride and the boots are slightly recessed to make walking a little easier. The soles are hard plastic, I suspect they can be slippery on a wet smooth surface. It will probably be a few years before I know how durable the shoe is. I'm probably not the best person to comment on the fit, I have very narrow feet. An online shoe store has over 9,200 men's shoes, 5 of which are available in my US size 11.5 AA. I keep reading that legs get wider with age, at 68 I'm still waiting. The Velcro straps on these shoes allow me to adjust the width satisfactorily. I find that fit is not as important in cycling shoes as it is in walking. I have 45 European size. Like most cycling shoes I've seen, these shoes look narrow. If you have wide feet, you might want to heed the manufacturer's recommendation for the next size up.
