. The product is now around 6 months old and I am very happy with the results

I have been using this product for around 6 months now and am very happy with the results. I have dark blonde hair and ordered a set for brown and the results look very natural. I once read somewhere that blondes should be two tones darker than their hair color and brunettes should be two tones lighter. Not sure if this is still relevant, but I followed it and it worked. The tint lasts about two weeks full but looks best/richest right after application. It will stain your skin, and that part will last for several days as well. I'm following the directions on the packaging, although they're a bit vague, so to clarify: - Take a bunch of cotton swabs, a wet and a dry paper towel, or a washcloth (don't mind getting dirty) near your "" Station" - When mixing the powder with the developer, I first add the contents of one capsule to the mixing bowl. Then squeeze enough developer onto the powder to completely cover it with a thin layer. Blend with a brush until the resulting cream is an even color with little or no brown powder particles. If your mixture is still very blotchy, add a little more developer. The cream should all brown evenly, so if yours looks like cookies and cream, you may need to adjust it. After mixing, I leave a minute or two for the developer to activate. I have thickly styled brows, so when I first apply, I brush against the direction of hair growth to get in between the cracks and at the base of the brow hairs. Once it's grabbed, I comb in the direction of hair growth as if filling in my eyebrows. - After your first few uses, wipe off with a damp paper towel after about a minute to see how much pigment your skin/hair absorbs and rate skin sensitivity. I have very sensitive skin and don't notice any irritation unless I leave the product on for more than 3 minutes (irritation means a slight burning sensation). I usually apply 3-4 coats to each brow, cleaning the edges as I go. with a cotton swab. It is best to press the cotton swab along the edges of the brow bone to follow the natural curve of your brows. I've never used a whole capsule/batch of developer in one session, so don't worry about that. Ends or too many coats applied. It's always easier to add more than try to take it out (although it fades fairly quickly and can probably be washed off with dish soap). I apply every 1-2 weeks or so and it really cuts down on the time. the amount of time and products I spend on my brows every day. I have yet to fill in the tails as mine are pretty sparse and the tint usually fades from my skin relatively soon after application.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
