It takes about an hour to charge - it's worth it.
I have bought one of the "wrong" chargers for another device in the past. I've learned my lesson. The cost was about half that of the original charger, but it took almost 24 hours to charge. I chose the original OEM for my Worx trimmer. Fully charged in one hour. Worth the extra money to get a charger so I can continue gardening that day instead of waiting for it.
