Review on πŸ–οΈ Optimized: Rio Brands Wave 1-Position Folding Beach Sand Chair by Chris Bowden

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Most uncomfortable chair ever!

I thought it would be like my 15 year old ultra light aluminum loungers. not even close! They are made of tubular steel. Steel is heavy. If that's not enough, they are way too low - I wanted low sand chairs, but they are so low that as soon as you sit down you end up in the sand. I also tried using it on grass. So low that I had to bend my legs to the side and sit on my hips. The strip of fabric that's supposed to be the seat is separate from the backrest and narrow - I fidgeted constantly, trying to get comfortable, but didn't sit in the gap. I was upset - I didn't even think about my last chair. Then the fun part: carrying the chair. It's small, but due to the fact that it's made of steel, it's heavy. No strap. I looked at my friend's backpack chairs which left both hands free. I only used one hand for the chair. I couldn't wait to come back! If it were a backpack design I would settle for a steel construction. But the extremely low profile and uncomfortable seat bar made it just unacceptable.

Pros
  • EASY TO PORTABLE: Weighs only 5 lbs making it light and portable
Cons
  • Large and bulky
