Review on πŸ”Œ Hunter Rainsford 52-Inch Black Ceiling Fan with Pull Chain Control - Indoor/Outdoor Use by Kelly Johnston

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Weak fan blades

The fan was placed outdoors for about 4 months and the blades broke twice. The first time was during a tropical storm when only one arm broke. Hunter claimed it was a natural disaster, so there was no compensation. I paid $30 + $10 for delivery of new guns. All five had to be replaced because the arms that didn't click were bent, causing the fan to wobble. The second time, two of the rotor blades broke during a late thunderstorm typical of a Florida summer. I like the look of the fan and it was easy to install the remote control. It's probably fine for indoor use, but in my experience blades just aren't designed for outdoor situations where high winds can occur.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
