I have bought many things for my new baby and this is the only thing I deeply regret. You get what you pay for and this cradle is complete garbage. As many other reviewers have mentioned, the mattress has a large gap in the middle, allowing it to fold in half. It annoyed me, but I thought as long as the child uses the cradle everything is fine. However, after only a few weeks of use, the mattress had large dents where the baby's head had been. Mind you, I have a 6 pound premature baby and I switch sides of his head every night. He definitely shouldn't have been able to permanently dent a mattress in a short amount of time. I would say that this bassinet has multiple uses when traveling but as it only lasts for a few nights sleep this is not the case. acceptable for everyday use. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on something that will actually last a few months at least.
