MUST HAVE for a seamstress.

I LOVE this presser foot. It requires a bit of maneuvering to get it on the car and you'll need a little practice. But after that, it saves you all the hassle of assembling dresses, skirts, curtains - you name it. It is adjustable with the stitch length and sets the sewing foot for 1, 6 or 12 stitches between ruffles. I suggest that as you practice you make a chart of the starting and ending lengths of the fabric. For example, make strips that are 4 inches wide and gather the entire length. Place the ruffle 12 stitches between the ruffles, then adjust the stitch length to see how much material they pick up. Do the same with 6 and 1. Then you also have examples to choose what you like best for different projects. A MUST for a Seamstress --- part time or full time. I have an old car that I leave the muffler leg attached to, just slide off the table when I need the bells and whistles. A NOTICE. Make sure you know if your machine has a high shank or a low shank. You MUST get the right one for your machine.
