It's okay though. best when sewing

Easily attaches to my Brother and Singer. Strong but expensive! Gathering feet might be the best way for me. I had a hard time double feeding it when I put it in the guide hook on the foot. I've tried it on my two machines with no luck. The bottom layer kept slipping out of line. After much swearing, I tried again. This time I placed the fabric over the guide hook and got better results. I'm sure this product really works. Maybe it's just user error on my part and I just need to get used to it.

Didn't last long in presser feet

This is my second pile foot. The first one I bought was half the price of this one but only lasted a few hours before breaking. I figured since it's a generic brand I'd order it for Singer. Guess it looks the same as the first one and lasted about the same. And yes, it was made in Hong Kong, like the first one. So don't pay twice as much as you should. The idea behind this gadget is great and cuts sewing time down to a fraction of what it would otherwise be. But if they don't last, what's the…

waste of money. Not for Series 44 singers

VERY disappointed with this purchase. Only worked the first time. The description says it fits all low shank machines but it never fit my singer 4432. If you have a heavy 44 series please don't waste your money on this product. I expected the results to be at least better if not the same as shown in the video. I've done everything to make this work, but it never really worked. It's too heavy for low shank machines and won't fit. After my machine was attached, there was no room to insert fabric…

Pros
  • Slightly above
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

What I learned that may help: 1. At first I thought it wouldn't fit my Singer HD 4432 fit because my stylus hit the plate. I realized that it was necessary to adjust the position of the needle. I'm not talking about shifting the left center to the right, I'm talking about my needle being too far to the left in the center position. Went to YouTube and found what I needed to open the car and fix it.2. When you're ready to try it, make sure the presser foot is down. With the size of the foot, not…

MUST HAVE for a seamstress.

I LOVE this presser foot. It requires a bit of maneuvering to get it on the car and you'll need a little practice. But after that, it saves you all the hassle of assembling dresses, skirts, curtains - you name it. It is adjustable with the stitch length and sets the sewing foot for 1, 6 or 12 stitches between ruffles. I suggest that as you practice you make a chart of the starting and ending lengths of the fabric. For example, make strips that are 4 inches wide and gather the entire length…

Know before you sew!

This foot was purchased for a very specific task, making a tablecloth and bridal skirt. It would be difficult to describe all the features to understand this ruffle foot. If you are planning to use it there is a good video you can find so you can see where to insert the fabric so you can learn how to gather (if needed) and attach to another fabric at the same time and hence you MUST slow down sewing. speed or you will break the needles. Before sewing with the presser foot, you MUST check the…

Good leg for a good car.

So I bought a generic version of this for my old sewing machine and it broke needle after needle after needle. The car was limping anyway, so I'm not sure if it was the car or the leg. So I got my new machine and was very scared of getting a new ruffle foot. I needed it, so I decided to go with a branded brand. The new machine does a great job and I felt it deserved the name "ruffle foot". This worked great. It has multiple settings that are as simple as moving a lever. Does what it's supposed…
