I read all the bad reviews but decided to buy this unit anyway. For my money and my goals - a good strong unit. (I use it to hold fabrics and align the doors to open top to bottom like a breadbox.) Easy (and fun!) to put together, quite attractive, and very unique. I even disassembled and reassembled it several times to find the right configuration for my needs. My only gripe is with the little clips that keep the doors closed. I bought a pad of 9 boxes and they sent me a package with 4 small plastic clips which still didn't work and broke right away. I used magnetic strips with glue on the back and everything works great! My advice: don't buy this device if you expect perfection from cheap metal and plastic, build it yourself and don't have the ingenuity to figure out how to make it. to make it work better.
