The machine is working properly. There are no bonus hands included, I'm not the only one who didn't receive them so I'm guessing they are there by accident. Few things to do 1. Unplug the power cord when not in use to protect it from overheating. 2. Clean the rubber guide roller every few times, it picks up and soaks up transfer ink, making the paper difficult to pass through. . Which results in you not getting a stencil and overheating. 3. Works with classic and upgraded carbon paper. The old stuff seems to work better with an image with heavier lines. The new paper seems to be better suited for images with finer lines. 4. I would keep the transfer paper without jerking as it goes through, it can sometimes roll back into the roller or into the paper image slot. I definitely don't regret the purchase. Get the best stencil that is darker and lasts longer than thermal dot matrix printers.
