I have been using several models of LG U-shaped headsets for a number of years. They were the best on the market, but they were very expensive. I bought a set of these and I really like them BETTER than LG. Here are 7 reasons why.1. The reply function is very unique. You pull out the retractable earbuds to answer the call. With LG, you have to pull out the earbuds and press the button, so it's simpler and easier. 2. It has a dedicated ON/OFF button. I've recently bought LG style U-shaped headsets that use a multifunction button for answer and power on/off. It takes 4-5 seconds to hold the button to turn it on and off. A toggle button lets you feel if it's on or off and just slide the button up or down. It's easier, faster and easier for me.3. It has a switch to reduce ambient noise. If you're in an area with loud background noise, simply flip this switch to the ON position and ambient noise will be reduced so the person on the other end of the call can hear it better. This button is on the right and is the only button on the right so you don't get confused. I'm assuming this just reduces the sensitivity of the mic, but it still helps with a lot of background noise.4. It uses a microUSB charging port, which is a plus or a minus depending on the cable. I'm using a 3-in-1 cable with C, Micro, and Lightning connectors. My phone has USB C and while I charge my phone I can charge the headset via microUSB. For most people, only USB-C is better, and that's not a plus for most.5. Completely flexible. Previous LG models tend to snap right down the middle. I've had three headsets at this point of failure, although I have to admit I used them for a number of years before they broke. If you wear the headset all the time, the material will fatigue and tear over time, meaning the headset will need to be replaced. They appear to be fully flexible and I don't think they will suffer the same fatigue but I don't know as I haven't had this set for a long time.6. Different colors. It comes in 3 different colors. At LG I had black, silver, white, blue and gold. They don't make as many colors anymore but they have 3 beautiful colors that go well with different clothes. Price. It's half the price of an LG and the sound quality is just as good.
