As the name suggests the cable is quite good quality but heavy as the cable is thick and the connectors have extra metal housings for the screws and therefore may not match your cable. Do not place it on your desk before detaching it, as this may strain your keyboard's USB-C port. However, I still use it (with my keyboard on the tray and detachable cable) but the weight of the cable hasn't affected anything yet and the connection to the keyboard is pretty tight/firm. Recommended for purchase, but for aesthetic reasons, not practical.
